A threat was found at the end of the day written on a second-floor girl’s bathroom at the Monroe-Woodbury Middle School, police said. The note reportedly included a threat to harm students, though there is not believed to be an immediate threat.
As police continue investigating the threat, they will increase patrols and their presence at the school until Monday. According to a News12 report, police are checking students’ handwriting as part of the investigation, though the building is used by older teenagers after school hours for various activities.
